I loved the idea of arranging colorful lines randomly throughout the vessel. However, when I tried to place the legs, I couldn’t find the footing for one of them because of the figuration of this beautiful burl. While focused on creating a new design, I learned that the real challenge was to make this vessel stand up.
To solve this dilemma, I put two of the horizontal lines crossing the void and creating a new footing for the leg. The lid also echoed the design. Unexpectedly, this challenge turned out to be the motive to bring the whole project together.
